About Us
Trend & Thomas was formed in 1984 and has been trading in Rickmansworth since 1985. It was initially founded by Mike Trend and Adrian Thomas as an estate agents and surveyors firm.
Over time there have been changes in the senior management team. Paul Harris joined Trend & Thomas in 1987, becoming a director in 1988, before Mike Trend retired from the practice ten years later in 1998.
In 2006, the estate agency and surveying departments separated to become independent firms, and Trend & Thomas Surveyors Ltd was formed. Both remain present in Rickmansworth town centre and trade under the same historic name.
Now in our 40th year in business, our knowledge of property in Rickmansworth and the surrounding areas is second to none, and our team continue to provide an ever-growing range of professional services to both the domestic and commercial sectors.
Andrew Davies (MSc MRICS MFPWS) began working as a consultant to the firm in January 2016, he then became a partner and Director in 2018. Andrew brought with him significant experience in the education sector, party wall and dilapidation matters, which has allowed the firm to also expand into those sectors.

Based in Rickmansworth, we work in all of the surrounding areas including London and the Home Counties. For project work additional areas extend to Berkshire, Surrey and Milton Keynes.
